Actress Zoe Saldana had ten years of minor roles on TV and in movies before she became a major sci-fi babe icon in 2009. She became the new "Uhura" in the 2009 version of Star Trek and then she had the lead role as "Neytiri" in James Cameron's movie Avatar. Actually, it was only Zoe's voice and body movements that were featured as Neytiri. Which is too bad, because Neytiri seemed to be naked throughout most of the movie. Modern filmmaking is very confusing.
