Beautiful actress Alexis Bledel first gained some fame as a teenager playing the role of Rory Gilmore, the daughter on the TV series "Gilmore Girls". Alexis/Rory aged very well during that series, going from cute teen to really hot young woman. Still, it was a shock to find Alexis playing one of those wild prostitutes in the mucho violent movie "Sin City". Alas, no nudity for that prostitute. Alexis was also one of the stars of the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" chick-flicks.

Alexis claims that she really didn't intend on making a career out of acting, but we're guessing that face and those blue eyes will keep her busy in the biz for quite awhile.

Alexis guest starred in the series finale of ER, playing a new doctor at County General Hospital. Her character's single day on the show closely echoed the first day of Dr. Carter fifteen years earlier.
