Victoria Silvstedt

Victoria Silvstedt is the prototypical blonde Swedish glamour model. After doing a bit of traditional modeling, she was discovered by the folks at Playboy - who quickly put her in the December 1996 centerfold. Not too surprisingly (actually, this seems like one of those "done deals" that occasionally happens at Playboy), she was named Playmate of the Year in 1997.

When she was younger, before pursuing the modeling thing, Victoria was actually a member of the Swedish national ski team. Her mom and sister entered her into the Miss Sweden contest, she finished second and the rest, as they say (and they do say it often about Ms Silvstedt), is history.
