Cher began her singing career in the 1960's with husband Sonny Bono as 'Sonny & Cher'. Between her duo and solo careers she's managed to sell over 180 million albums. Oh, yeah, she's also an Academy Award winner: she won the Oscar for Best Actress for 'Moonstruck' in 1988.
